3 Top Reasons Why I Love Working From Home
1) I get to re-BEAUTIFY beautiful things all day.
(nightstand makeover in-progress)
2) I get to create pretty things all day.
(trinket jars)
3) I get to love on my boy all day.
Being surrounded by the things I love...not a bad way to spend a life, right?

So since officially starting J.J.D (last week), I posted on my personal Facebook profile that I'd be taking new custom requests for furniture refinishing in November. I am very determined to have all my current projects finished by then and clear out my poor garage for the newbie projects. I was so excited to already get a few responses from friends; it really is a dream come true! Let me just say that putting myself and my talents "out there" is not something I'm used to doing. I never like being the center of attention, or drawing any attention to myself for that matter. I am very sensitive, modest and completely shy (not like those are bad qualities at all!) and I'm not used to showcasing anything about myself, so this is a huge step for me. I am totally frightened! But I have confidence that if I keep doing the things I love for the people I love, then breaking my shy barrier will be totally worth it.
Like I always tell myself before a workout:
"Breathe. Have faith. Have fun."
Thanks for coming along for the ride! Here we go...

That nightstand is gorgeous. That's awesome Josie. I'm excited for you. It feels so good to make some extra money doing something you enjoy doesn't it?! I know you will so very well. I'm totally the same way about being the center if attention or just having attention on me in general. It makes me super uncomfortable. By the way, Jason has the same car as Ethan. They need to race :)
