Heroes Do Exist.

I've been slowly chipping away at redecorating Jason's room.

His nursery theme was safari animals (I know, sooo original!)

then, I wanted to change it to firetrucks since he was getting into the firetrucks and cars phase.

But while I was going through his older clothes to donate, I found his adorable Marine Corps dress blues pajamas and realized I wanted to keep it forever.

"American Heroes" sounds like such a better theme than "firetrucks and cars". 

That way, he can still keep the firetrucks

and the airplanes

and the police cars

and the Marines stuff.

Because American heroes wear all kinds of uniforms.

And in a way, he's my little hero.

He's my mini best friend.

& I want to remember that forever.

Just for fun, here's what the frame looked like prior to my "hero" epiphany. 

Oooh! As much as I love horses, this picture was not welcome in my house. Luckily, it was only $1 at a yardsale. Whoo hoo!! Yardsale sellers with cheap prices are mommy's heroes too :)
